H2's are over. Finally, after what seemed like eternity but was actually one week and 2 days, the most stressfull, hard to study subjects are over. Bleaghh. There's still math in a weeks' time. But it isn't as hard to study, because math isn't boring. I mean yeah, you can hate math, but it keeps you on your toes that kinda thing. Unlike econs, where it's just plain boring. PLUS, you can listen to music and all that while doing math unlike my other arts, content-based subjects.

Anyways, exams officially ended on Tuesday with Paper 1 lit. WHICH I SCREWED UP BIG TIME! But not the point, at least not yet, I just wanted to be carefree, stress-free and all for at least until tonight. Then, tomorrow I'll start worrying. Yeah, so on tuesday, we had kind of an unofficial class outing, or rather a ' marriage of convenicence'(?) Where groups of people wanted to go catch a movie and we just decide to go together! It was fun fun. Ate pastamania at cine and I dared Ting and Zehra to dare me to eat a whole spoon of cheese with tobasco sause. And seeing how I HATE cheese, I was at an almost-puke stage, you know like fear factor how they eat bugs and they want to puke but they can't because of well $50,000 hanging over their heads, except I didn't puke because of the fear of looking more stupid than I already am, and the fear of being called a loser in public. AND OF COURSE, WHO THE HELL WOULD WANT TO PUKE?!

Ok, bleaghh. BAD memories. Anyways, yeah watched Miami Vice. Wasn't too keen at first but it's a nice enough action movie, I realised at this movie, blood makes me quite excited. Especially when they're shooting each other's guts off. Heh. But yeah, it was a good movie and bloody hell, GONG LI is damnn freaking hot, especially when she wears her powersuits and all, her body is so damnn wow! yepp, hot stuff.

I haven't blogged for so long, that I want to type out all the good things that's been happening to me which I don't usually do. Time for a change eh? But it's so mundane. I'm talking rubbish. Bleagh. Anyways, yesterday our class organised this thingy at Marina Bay where you pay ten bucks which includes a free ice cream, transport to the place to and fro from the train station and obviously the food! Damnn good deal. And I loved it, almost everyone was there. It was great to see the unity. I've never been to a gathering where the everyone actually turns up. So, this was great! And it was fun, and for the first time in a long while, I felt genuinely happy, and especially care-free. Except for the little moments where I'd wish we'd all just stay together as a class next year, and I really really hope I graduate with this class. Sighh. Ahh, dream dream.

Arghh, as patriotic as I'd like to be, I wish I didn't have to live in Singapore. No one ever comes to Singapore except bands like Westlife and all the pop acts that are on the verge of losing their appeal and what not. Then they'll come to Asia since that's where they get most of their support from. Bleaghh. I just read that Snow Patrol was having this Japanese tour thing next year February! Like wth, why not stop by Singapore on the way. They're getting quite popular here anyway. Arghh, the hottest acts always go to JAPAN. Or Bangkok for some damn cool festival.

I mean Singapore's bringing in cool acts too like Kings of Convenience and all, so it ain't that bad. But why can't we be another Japan. It's always the damnn Taiwanese acts that are coming for tours here and all. Bleaghh. Japan's damnn cool, everyone goes there. Movie stars, pop stars, bands. SNOW PATROL!

Sighh.

Anyways, was listening to this song called Spiders by Lovedrug and I thought I'd post the lyrics here because I think they're wonderful. Obviously.

Searching on the wire, for a wire
For a piece of mind
Like the spiders in the corners that are never there
To the one, to the magic sun
You're not that bright now, but you'll be some day, soon.
And you'll fall in love with the moonlight.

So come on come on and say so,
come on come on and say so

If God was on the radio,
I know he'd say to thee:
Love is spiders on the edge,
And we're hanging by a thread
Connected to the other end of this twisted frequency I've spun

But I don't care
I'd be happy
If you'd share
Your web with me.

The countdown to the promos is crazy. It's gonna happen so soon that I keep thinking it's some sick nightmare. Haha. So dramatic eh. But yeah, I'm really scared. I can't get retained. Hell, the word retain is not even in my parents' vocabulary list. Whereas that word has been the only word in my vocabulary list for these past few weeks. Bleaghh. Study Study Study! I can't wait for the promos to be over. Then we have PW to be worried about. Arghh, forget what I just said, I can't wait for the A's to be overr. Bleaghh.

Anyways, just caught Singapore Idol and Jonathan sang 'Chasing Cars'! Like omg, this is my favourite song of the damnn year! It's the song I listen to every night before I sleep every day ever since I got hold of the album a couple of months back. I was kinda apprehensive when they said he was singing the song because I would never forgive him IF he screwed up or didn't give a satisfactory version of the song. But thankfully, he did give a wonderful rendition obviously not as good as the original but good enough! Actually, everyone sang well tonight. We don't have Joakim to spoil anything so yeah it's all good.

AND! I just also watched Rockstar: Supernova on youtube. And Toby's original song rocked the damnn house! I was like singing along. Thank god I was alone at home. But yeah, I was singing along! Maybe, I'll put the video when I'm not so lazy. Oh my gosh, I'm like super high, super excited. Uh-oh-Uh oh uh oh. And Magni's original was okay too. Dave Navaro was spot on with the totally cool guitar riffs throughout the song. Cool shit. If I wrote an original song, it would probably be an upbeat version of like mary had a little lamb. I'm such a loser. But yeah. They rockedd!

Gonna go chase cars around my head. Heh. Lame.

This week's been damn crazy. What with the war bewteen my mom and my sisters. Heh. My mom's been really crazy, either she is damn stressed out or well, she likes to nag. I suspect both. Anyways, holidays have started and glad to say my first day not in school has turned out to be rather productive. I studied the End of Cold War. However, I must admit that it was my interest in the subject rather than the need to study that mad it productive. Heh. To top off my learning of the situations and all in the Cold War and the Post Cold War, I watched Hotel Rwanda again. And with better understanding of the situation and history about the genocide, I appreciated the movie much more and well hate the Americans even more, if that's even possible. Their non-action during the genocide because of the lack of vital interests in Rwanda killed over a million tutsis. Quite sad stuff. Wanted to cry, but my sisters were there and I wanted to maintain my strong image. Heh. Maybe, I can get some respect.

Anyways, Cold War aside, I've been quite happy lately. Joakim finally is out. Ironically, he was eliminated after probabably one of HIS better performances. So yeah, I think the judges' reverse psychology worked. Even Ken praised him. But of course, Jonathan's rendition of 'Unforgettable' was omg! I wanted to be his girl! Heh. I mean I am funny (?), spontaneous. Damn. Ok well, so I can't be his girl. Well, can dream right. Haha, and Yuan Hao is a fan of Jon too but he wants him out because dear YH can't stand the suspense and fear of Jon's possibility in being eliminated and this is severely affecting his revision for promos. HAHA. HE'S CRAZY!

Also, Ryan Star, one of my favourite rockers got eliminated from Supernova. In a way, I am sad because you don't get to see him perform but I guess I always knew that he wasn't a match for Supernova. Supernova has a weird mix of weird musicians from Metallica to Guns N Roses to Motley Crue. So yeah, Ryan's more of a like... Copeland, Augustan, Jacks Mannequin kinda guy but more edgier and slightly heavier you know. But he's a sensitive rocker and he'll never be able to fit in with Supernova. Whereas Magni and Dilana fit in so well with Supernova especially Dilana. But I hope Ryan continues things with his old band 'Stage' soon enough. And yea, I know this is not the end of Ryan the Star. HEH.

Ok, gotta go now. Ghost Whisperer with the ever gorgeous Jennifer Love Hewitt ((: And it's not just the name.
