I decided to have a new blogskin since it's almost been one year since I started this blog. I cannot believe one year has passed. It's been totally incredibly fast.

I cannot believe I am only turning 17 when some people are going to turn 18 in 2 months or so. Bleaghh.

Nevermind. Young is good. Besides, turning 18 is scary. You're supposed to know what you want to accomplish with your life at 18. You're officially an almost-adult. Heh. OH! And I also got wonderful news on my birthday! A wonderful Birthday present.
Muse is coming to perform in Singapore! And I have to go for this!
This news actually came on the day when I was going to buy their albums because I felt super guilty for dlding their albums cause they are so good!

Went to Taka yesterday and ate at Crystal Jade Restaurant. First time eating at this Crystal Jade Restaurant. Yep, went with Ting, Szeming, Charissa, Liyun and Minjia. Great stuff. I was made to try something new. You know since I'm a super non-experimental eater. They decided to let me try Xiao Long Bao. Under normal circumstances, I would never have eaten it. Cause it looks weird. Haha. But the whole damn table was staring at me so no choice. But I tried it and it was quite nice. Haha. Was super happy that I tried something new for once! Now, there's still sushi. I have to have to have to try that before I die. Haha.

Anyways, they got me slippers as my birthday present. And the slippers were super totally incredibly cute! I loved it! They probably decided to give me slippers after seeing my disgusting yellow slippers at Batam. Haha. And they gave me Famous Amos cookies too! ((: Was super happy.
Even happier with the company and all the teasing and the jokes.

I HAVE FOUND MY HIDDEN TALENT PEOPLE!
I am a super-swinger! ((: Along with Jocelyn. Haha.
During the Batam OCIP, at the resort, there was this playground with 2 swings and thus I was declared a super-swinger. Or was it self-declared. Oh well nevermind. Haha. Ting was declared Taiti Queen. ( I think that's how you spell it) and Charissa was declared... Queen of Iodine. haha.

Anyways, the Batam trip was mighty fun. Really loved it and the company. About 13 people I think. The chalet was BEAUTIFUL! It was like so not an OCIP. Heh.
Anyways, the teaching the kids was really something. It was cool. The kids were damnnn cute! AND SUPER ENTHUSIASTIC! I have never seen a bunch of kids so enthusiastic about academic stuff before in my entire life. They were basically screaming their heads off repeating the words after us. It was wonderful. Dannel proved to be a hearthrob among these Indonesian girls. They all gave him origami hearts! And he was happily counting away. Heh. Ircahn was like the big brother. I was the behind the scenes teacher. Heh. Ting was the super fun enthusiastic likeable teacher and Charissa was the photographer cum behind the scenes too maybe? And she taught a bit as well. Especially that weird language song. So fun. Abigail was also a pretty good teacher ((:

I feel my language is deteriorating like crazy. Must be too much Indonesian. Anyways, yeah. Batam's really fun! Took damnn alot of crazy pictures, watched a lot of TV. Oh yea. We received channel 5 over in Batam and they kept on showing Hady's You Give Me Wings Video. And truthfully the video sucks big time and everyone agreed. And so we decided to make our own 'You Give Me Wings' MV. It was super funny. We planned to put it on youtube but we were interrupted during the filming but the 10 seconds that we actually filmed was really really funny. I hope we finish filming! ((:
Oh. I hope I find my Batam Prince soon. ((: LOL.

Anyways, I MISS EVERYONE. IJ friends and CJ friends. Heh. Must see yall soon yes.

My father's off to India alone to visit his sick father and also to visit people that need to be visited. He's off for a week. My father's never been away this long so I'm not exactly sure of how to feel. Before he actually left, I thought maybe I'd miss him quite a bit and all that. And this would show some signs of a good relationship between me and my father somehow. And well, yeah I do miss him a bit. But, it's really really hard to express that. When he calls home and I happen to pick up the phone, I give him all these monotonous short answers and I'm really scared that he thinks I don't care. And then I pass over the phone to my mom and I regret not giving monosylabic answers... if there's such a word. Heh.

Sigh. I wish it was so much easier.

Anyways, Miss Clarissa Cross scared the shit out of me so much that I am actually gonna try and study. Must study. Nevertheless, thanks for the scare... and the motivation. Kinda worked ((:

HELLO. LONG TIME NO SEE EH?
Probably because of project work and all.
And, I've been watching alot of foreign dramas.
But it's more than enough to keep me busy the whole day.
I have been bored so just watch these dramas and all.

Anyways, Project Work is finally over! I wasn't as scared but this was probably because I prayed a lot before the presentation. And guess who was there as my audience during the presentation. The guy whom I dislike ALOT. Also known as Chokalingam. Heh. Our nickname for him.

Anyways, on the PW day especially after that, I fell sick. Terrible headache and flu and all. Bleaghh. Terrible. But thankfully the Influenza jab I took didn't really affect as much. Talking about influenza, I'm QUITE EXCITED ABOUT GOING TO BATAM. My first overseas trips without parents and all if you exclude Malaysia that is. Yepp. Leaving on the 20th of this month. WHICH IS ONE WEEK BEFORE MY BIRTHDAY. That was a hint by the way. Heh.

Okay, so I've been watching these Korean/Taiwanese romantic comedy dramas lately to basically pass time where I've to wait for the next episode of Prison Break and Dexter and all. And... after watching these dramas, I seriously long to fall in love. Somehow after watching these Asian dramas, you just want to fall in love heh. No matter whether it's one-sided or not. lol. I reckon it must be a wonderful feeling. But then after watching American shows like One Tree Hill and other teen soaps and all, you start to think otherwise. Haha. I've never been in love so I wouldn't know eh. So therfore, I've decided to boycott the second season of OTH which is currently showing on Star World because of Nathan And Haley's terrible relationship. And that takes alot of effort because I hate to watch something and stop in the middle of it. So then, I can still convince myself, that love is cool. Heh.

Lately I've been thinking and all about this thing called love. And I realise, I have to be a bit more passionate about life and all. I realised I am quite empty you know. I am not passionate about anything. I mean people are passionate about sports like soccer, or you know other stuff... guitar, piano etc. I used to be rather passionate about piano. But after resuming piano lessons, it doesn't seem to be my thing. I want to be passionate about something or someone. Preferably the former. Knowing me and my stone heart, I am not bound to like anyone soon. I hope I won't end up being a spinster for life. That would be just totally horrible. Gosh. I don't even want to think about it.

I am really envious of all those couples in school and everywhere else. Being in love I guess. It sounds nice ESPECIALLY after watching dramas.

heh.

I should stop watching so many dramas. However, I realised that the people in the dramas they fall in love AFTER living together, or after some arranged or contract marriage. Lol. So, I'm thinking. Arranged Marriage ain't that bad after all. Of course, I wouldn't mind if he's quite tall and well... a prince maybe?

Heh. DREAM. Until then, God, I pray that I want to feel excited about something.

Anyways, project work is really getting crazy. I'm so tired and like omg. I had presentations. I cannot stand having an audience. I just don't look at them. Don't know what they're thinking about you know. Anyways, one of the criteria is awareness of audience. And obviously I suck at that. BLEAGHH. HELP ME.
