Bleaghh. Confirm can't go for the Rachael Yamagata. Can't even afford the 40 bucks student concession. Plus I wouldn't have anybody to go with. AND THEY ARE SOLD OUT. ONLY 60 BUCKS AND 118 BUCKS AVAILABLE.
Bleaghhhh. I really like her. )):
I thought I could manage and save up on time. Like the Muse concert. Somehow managed to get money on time. Or maybe get tickets sponsored by my uncle.
Unfortunately, she aint popular enough for my cousin to know her, HENCE no free tickets.
God, I need to get a job.
SOON.
If it weren't for the A's.
Gosh.
Anyways, moving on.
I need to get my homework done.
I attempted today, but the source based confused me like shit.
I was so confused, I started daydreaming.
I've been daydreaming alot lately.
It's so not my thing. Haha.
Anyways, parents leaving for India tomorrow.
My mom especially thinks that she's leaving for Mars or something.
So totally anxious.
She's scared to leave her 3 totally mature, level-headed daughters alone at home.
Okay, maybe only one of them ((: is mature and level-headed.
But I'm sure we'll manage.
Plus, it's only for four days.
Oh yes, since it's the holidays, and I'm kind of taking a break but still trying to balance wor rather unsuccessfully... but I tried.
So anyways, since I only have ten bucks left, I have to unfortunately restrain myself from going out.
And hence, I have found a few new TV shows that are totally worth staying at home for.
The first one is this show called "The Black Donnellys"
Firstly, the Donnellys are NOT black.
Haha. It's basically this drama about four brothers and how one of the brothers, Tommy Donnelly sacrifices everything to take of his other 3(Most of them are screw-ups) brothers.
Yeah. He basically killed two Mob bosses, the Italian Mob boss and the Irish Mob boss to save his terribly screwed up brother Jimmy Donnelly.
And in the process, he loses the only girl he's ever loved his entire life.
Damn nice show.
A bit of violence. Morbid, dark humour. But all worth it.
I hope this show comes to Singapore. But I highly doubt it, it doesn't have stellar ratings although, the ratings are up and critics are raving about it.
And the other show is a sitcom called "The Winner". It's about a loser basically, a guy who's 32, still lives in his parents' house- never had a job/only kissed a girl once BY ACCIDENT/still a virgin.
Haha.
The show's damn funny as he starts exploring his "wonder years" together with his 14 year old sidekick and new best friend, also the son of the woman he's always loved.
DAMN FUNNY.
But seriously, go check out The Black Donnellys on youtube. It doesn't have a crazy plot like Lost, Prison Break or Heroes or whatever. Just real hardcore drama. It's a breath of fresh air actually.
Anyways, there's a video of the ending scenes of 'The Black Donnellys' where Tommy decides to save his screw up brother Jimmy by killing both Mob bosses. Song's absolutely wonderful.
